A report, The State of Fashion 2020, Corona Virus Update, put together by BoF (Business of Fashion) and the consultancy firm Mckinsey and Company does not mince words.  The forecast for the fashion industry in the face of the COVID-19 virus does not look encouraging.   Imran Amed, BoF founder, posits that “the crisis is a catalyst that will shock the industry into change.” Join three of the most recognizable names in Philippine fashion retail as they share their insights.

In recent years, Philippine fashion has taken great strides in reviving Philippine weaving traditions, incorporating ancestrall craftsmanship into contemporary wear, and supporting indigenous artisanal communities.  Another segment of the fashion industry includes garment factories that subcontract for local and international brands.  

In this session, we will hear from designers and manufacturers on the impact of the corona virus on these enterprises.
